In 1944, Verdura created the first Stardust Bracelet, setting diamond stars across a cabochon sapphire sky. Verdura's friend and patron, composer Cole Porter, quickly acquired the bracelet for his wife, Linda. Two years later, Verdura designed the Stardust Necklace, a graduated fringe of milky aquamarines and diamond-set stars.
Today this iconic Verdura design tradition continues in a collection of earclips, necklaces and bracelets available in a range of diamond and colored stone combinations.

Born into Sicilian aristocracy in 1898, Verdura’s founder, Duke Fulco di Verdura, began his extraordinary career in Paris as a designer for Coco Chanel. After eight years with Chanel where he, most notably, created the Maltese Cross cuffs that became his signature, Verdura followed his passion for design to America in 1934.
