Verdura loved the bold design and Native American iconography of Theodore Roosevelt's "Indian Head" coins. With two $2.50 gold coins dating back to the early 20th century, the "Five Buck" earclips represent Verdura's whimsical tribute to his adopted country.
• Two vintage coins edged in 18k yellow gold rope, set with round-brilliant diamonds

Born into Sicilian aristocracy in 1898, Verdura’s founder, Duke Fulco di Verdura, began his extraordinary career in Paris as a designer for Coco Chanel. After eight years with Chanel where he, most notably, created the Maltese Cross cuffs that became his signature, Verdura followed his passion for design to America in 1934.
