On Tuesday, October 21, Verdura hosted an intimate cocktail reception at its Fifth Avenue salon in celebration of Lynn Wyatt, a newly released book from Susan Schadt Press, written by Ronda Carman with a foreword by Elton John.

Friends, family, and admirers gathered to honor the legendary philanthropist and style icon, including Sofia Coppola, Alison Sarofim, Bob Colacello, and Amy Fine Collins. Guests enjoyed cocktails in Verdura’s private salon overlooking Central Park, surrounded by the house’s rare jewels and archival designs.

Wyatt, who graces the book’s cover in a reprint of her technicolor portrait by Andy Warhol, was joined by her four sons for a celebratory toast. The evening paid tribute to her remarkable legacy of friendship, style, and grace—qualities reflected throughout the book’s pages and in every facet of her life.
