Raised in Sicily, Verdura was fascinated with the changing of the seasons and he saw in these jargoons the autumnal leaves of New York’s Central Park, only a few blocks from his salon.
In vibrant hues of red, green, yellow and orange, Verdura captured the fleeting colors of the leaves’ last moments.
