Kensington Cuff
Inspired by the intricate ironwork of London gates, Verdura adapted the familiar pattern in the 1940s for his cigarette cases and bracelets. Today, the Kensington design is reimagined as a bold, yet feminine cuff, the delicate grillwork set with pavé diamonds and punctuated with baguettes.
• Diamond and 18k yellow gold

Duke Fulco di Verdura was steeped in English culture since the earliest days of his Sicilian childhood. His mother insisted "all nannies be British or at least hail from the Empire" so Fulco would speak perfect English. It is no surprise that royal coats-of-arms and palace gates appear in his jewelry.
